Our Team

Lawrence P. Fiehrer, Partner

Partner, Fiehrer & Fritsch, LLC

I began my legal career in 1975, having attended law school in the evenings as well as Saturdays, and four (4) years later I received my Juris Doctorate Degree from Chase College of Law.

While attending law school, I was employed full time as an insurance adjuster, and, when I began my legal career other attorneys would often refer personal injury cases because of my knowledge of the insurance field. For many years I was known as a personal injury attorney and, in the late 1980s, my client received one of the largest soft tissue injury jury verdicts in the history of Butler County Ohio.

With the passage of time, my legal practice grew in the area of family law which has continued to the present. During this period of my career, I actually walked in the shoes of my clients, which gave me better insight into the emotional side of family law, more sensitive to the feelings of my clients and a better insight to the parent/child relationships, as well as the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities in the best interest of children. My wife, Carla, and I have a blended family (five children), and her son, Matt, is a partner in our law offices. It has worked for Carla and I, and it could work for others, approaching the end of a marriage as the beginning of a new chapter in life.

I have provided legal services in traffic court (OVI/DUI), and criminal justice, being a murder trial just a few years ago. Additionally, Fiehrer & Fritsch is a full service law firm which includes business formations, most frequently being limited liability companies, more popularly known as an LLC.

During my legal career which spans almost 40 years, I have been involved in estate planning, preparing Last Wills and Testaments, Health Care Powers of Attorney and Living Wills; and I am proud of the loyalty that my clients have shown; that, when a parent has passed away, the surviving spouse or children have asked that I help in the administration of the estate through Probate Court.

Lastly, realizing how fortunate I am to have practiced law in my hometown, I have attempted to give back to the legal community, serving as past President of the Butler County Bar Association and past President of the Butler Warren Legal Assistance Association; and civicly, being past President of the Hamilton Chapter of the American Red Cross and past Board Member of the Butler County Historical Society. It has been my pleasure to serve in our judicial system and be actively involved in the community.

In the event you, a family member or a friend requires legal services; please consider Fiehrer & Fritsch, Attorneys at Law.

Respectively submitted,
Lawrence P. Fiehrer

Matthew S. Fritsch, Partner

Partner, Fiehrer & Fritsch, LLC

Matthew S. Fritsch is a partner at Fiehrer & Fritsch, LLC with a general practice emphasizing areas such as criminal law, traffic/OVI law, family law, child custody, civil litigation, probate/estate planning, landlord/tenant disputes and personal injury matters.

Throughout his legal career, Matt has litigated hundreds of cases in municipal, county, appellate and federal courts. He routinely represents clients in all courts throughout Butler, Hamilton, Warren, Clermont and Preble Counties. He is an experienced litigator that has successfully negotiated many settlements and plea agreements to the satisfaction of his clients. However, not all cases can be adequately resolved by agreement of the parties. In those instances, Matt has aggressively and effectively tried many contested cases - both bench and jury trials - in areas including criminal law, family law, child custody and civil litigation.

Matt understands that each client needing the services of our firm is facing a difficult, potentially life-altering legal predicament. Matt prides himself on being accessible and maintaining a personal connection with his clients. He takes each case personally and understands the level of trust instilled upon him by his clients. This is reflected in his level of preparedness and zealousness through which he represents each and every client from the initial consultation to the resolution of the case.

Matt's professional activities consist of his membership in the Ohio State Bar Association and the Butler County Bar Association. He is a member of the Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Domestic Relations and Social committees within the Butler County Bar Association.

In addition to his private practice and professional organizations, Matt has served as a Judge in the Ohio Collegiate Mock Trial Tournaments. He has been a Career Day speaker and Mock Trial leader at Stephen T. Badin High School. Fiehrer & Fritsch is a proud member of the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and Matt was selected to participate in the Leadership Hamilton program offered by the Chamber. He also serves on the subcommittee for the Operation Pumpkin Festival that occurs each Fall in downtown Hamilton.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Thomas More College in 2003, where he was a four year baseball player and participant in two NCAA Tournaments. He graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2006 and was licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio that same year.

Matt is married to Jodi Fritsch, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Community First Solutions, and he is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. His primary hobbies include spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, seeing concerts and rooting for the Reds, Bengals, Buckeyes football and Musketeers basketball.
